How to remove stains from stainless steel

When cleaning your appliances, use a microfiber rag or soft cloth. Avoid cleaning agents that could scuff or corrode steel finish. Instead, use dish soap like Dawn® Platinum to clean your stainless steel equipment. Its special formulation is strong enough to remove stains without blemishing surfaces made of stainless steel.

Of course test an area to make sure this solution works for your appliance surface!

Make a paste by combining equal parts of liquid dish soap and baking soda for spots on stainless steel. Use an old toothbrush and paste to gently clean the discoloration along the direction of the steel's grain. For difficult stains, apply undiluted vinegar on a brush, scrub the spot, and then remove the vinegar with a cloth.
